Interesting quote from Seymour Cray regarding parallel computing:
"If you were plowing a field, which would you rather use: Two strong oxen or 1024 chickens?"
I guess the 1024 chickens did a better job. Maybe Cray asked the wrong question of attaching one big plow to 1024 chickens instead of harnessing 1024 mini-plows to 1024 chickens.
