Douglas A. McIntyre says Apple is running out of steam with the iPod. Yep, portable MP3 players are so old. So Apple is coming out with a new thang: iPhone.
Douglas A. McIntyre says Apple is on track to sell 10 million iPhones but is not about to overtake Nokia anytime soon. Yep but, then again, since Steve Jobs reincarnation, Apple has never joined the Race for the Bottom. I mean take a look at another player who does compete in the Race for the Bottom: Motorola.
Douglas A. McIntyre says Apple is running out of room to grow in the retail sector and should go into corporate/business sales. And join, what amounts to, another Race for the Bottom.
BMW. They tried running a Race for the Bottom by buying MG Rover. They got lucky and managed to ditch that strategy with only a few billion dollars in losses.
Daimler Benz. Same thing. Only BIGGER... losses.
No siree... Apple is doing just fine.
What critics should focus on is the effect on Apple if they lost Steve Jobs from, oh..., sickness or senility or SEC investigation into back dating of stock options..
