Ada the programming language commissioned by the US Department of Defense.
It never went away, just lurking about unnoticed...
Apparently, Lockheed Martin used it for a contract with the FAA and the project early and under budget.
A bit of the credit is apportioned to Ada.
If true, that is remarkable.
