Stupid Documentary: Futurecars

Last night I caught the last segment of Futurecars on Discovery Channel. I do not know when it was made or who wrote it or who did the voice over.

But I do know it was stupid.

The last segment was about air powered car developed by ex-Formula One engineer Guy Nègre's company MDI. The voice over droned on about how great, inspiring, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious it was. Then something in the droning caught my ire.

The voice over claimed that the air powered car was totally zero emission except for cold air from the tail pipe.

What?

Oh, where do you get compressed air? From thin air? Ya know... what do you need to power that compressor? Flux capacitor?

The voice over then reveals that MDI also has a AIR POWERED air compressor. This is really beginning to be stoopid.

But it gets stoopidier (stupid word). The voice over excitedly speculated that it would be possible to install the air powered air compressor in the air powered car... the air powered car can compress it's own fuel while it is running.

Like Perpetual Motion, the voice over triumphantly exclaimed.

Really stoopid.

Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid.
Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid.
Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid.
Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid. Stoopid.

Stoopid.
