America and Americans make such lousy (terrible is such a polite word) colonial masters.
Take it from someone who lives in the Philippines.
We had the Americans as colonial overlords before.
And we are still stuck in reverse 62 years after they left.
Of course, some will point out that some 400 years of Spanish abuse may had a hand.
Yes.
But the Spanish are not calling an air strike on terrorist insurgents somewhere in desert at the moment.
To Iraqis and Afghans, you people are toast.
