Sssshhh... Super Secret Submarine Base

Writing in the London Daily Telegraph, Thomas Harding is asking if China has "secretly built a major underground nuclear submarine base that could threaten Asian countries and challenge American power in the region"?

Uh...

So what?

If UK or France or US or Russia builds a brand spanking new underground secret submarine base, will Mr. Haring be asking questions along the same line?

I have no love for China's regime, whom Jack Cafferty lovingly referred to as thugs, but come now, China does have the right to build whatever secret base in it's territory.

Besides, China does not need submarines to threaten Asia. We are so close that all China has to do is lob an IRBM or two in our general direction if they wish to create havoc. And disease. And strife. And pestilence. And sickness. And destruction. And death.

Perhaps, too, it is time someone challenges the Americans who, by the way are not anywhere near their backyard, in Asia. Unless they think they still own the Philippines.

And.

Just everyone who cares knows where it is, what it is and probably the color of the base commander's undies.

It is not so secret is it not?
