I was wrong about Ferdinand Piëch, he wants a Porsche takeover of Volkswagen.
But why?
Maybe he thinks the Porsche family and management (led by Wendelin Wiedeking, who was instrumental in Porsche's ressurection) can do better than Volkswagen's management.
And somehow most thought Porsche only wanted secure the Cayenne's access to Volkswagen's production line.
Maybe it did start there, then just snowballed...
