With Hillary Clinton gracefully (I cannot stress that word enough to describe her deed) conceding to Barrack Obama, the Northeast Liberal Jinx strikes again.
The last President to come from the Northeast of the United States was John F. Kennedy.
Note the phrase "... to come from" should be taken to mean "where he/she made their political career".
