Reverse Smuggling

Is what happens when you tax exports.

Why tax exports?

Governments are wary of shortages created when manufacturers export to take advantage of higher prices abroad rather than sell at low domestic prices.

Why would domestic prices be lower?

Governments, in all their stupidity, impose price controls.

Hence, reverse smuggling.
