Valleywag says Microsoft is ditching Gates & Seinfeld, for now.
According to New York Times, Microsoft will now focus on '... take back the narrative' ads by featuring, among others, a real live Microsoft engineer who happens to look a bit like John Hodgman's 'I'm a PC' character from Apple's 'I'm Mac & I'm a PC' TV ads.
But I still don't get the two Gates & Seinfeld ads... and how the rest of the ad series is tied to it...
