His supporters called themselves The Deaniacs.
Remember how he imploded after Iowa in 2004?
Well he became chairman for the DNC.
He has been busy with "building state party organizations".
Grass roots stuff.
The stuff that got Geroge W. Bush in the White House.
Barrack Obama just said he can stay on as chairman to continue his work.
Very important work, as the DNC now realize.
Good for Obama for recognizing Dean's effort.
And good for Howard Dean for organizing and mobilizing the troops. despite wide skepticism from the DNC.
