AMD held so much promise but seems to disappoint like clockwork.
I remember when Intel stumbled in Itanium fiasco and the door was opened very wide for AMD.
And they jumped into the breached only to land tumbling, slipping, sliding and finally settling on their arse as they failed to deliver.
They were the first to push into multi-core CPUs leaving Intel wondering where everyone has gone to.
And, yet again, AMD failed to capitalized on their lead.
So much promise.
Then again, maybe Intel played very dirty with their market share and cash hoard.
