Tainted Olympic Torch

Protest at the lighting of the Olympic Torch.

Then again what is the Olympic Game?

What does it mean?

High paying 'amateur' athletes? Do they even have day jobs to qualify as amateur?

Are athletes, who can afford to train full time and year round by virtue of their product endorsements, still considered amateurs?

Are amateur athletes (not the same as athletes who can afford to train full time and year round by virtue of their product endorsements) even competitive against professional athletes (those who can afford to train full time and year round by virtue of their product endorsements)?

I am referring to sports such as Track and Field. Though not all events, just the marquee events like the 100 m dash.

What about performance enhancing drugs used by some or, perhaps, most?

What is the Olympic?
